Hallmark’s 'Good Witch' Gets Third Season Greenlight

Hallmark Channel has renewed its original series Good Witch for a third season, the network announced Thursday.

The series, which stars Catherine Bell and Bailee Madison, will return for a 12-episode third season in 2017, said network officials.

Good Witch is averaging 2.5 million viewers (Live +3 Nielsen ratings) through the first seven episodes of its sophomore campaign. The season two finale of the series will air on June 19, said the network. 

Hallmark will also air a Good Witch Halloween special in October, according to the network.

 “Fans are enchanted by the magical adventures of Cassie, Sam and Grace – charming characters who have inspired our viewers to believe in the magic that can be found in our everyday lives. We’re excited to see the captivating adventure continue with a third season,” said Michelle Vicary, Executive Vice President, Programming and Network Publicity, Crown Media Family Networks.
