Hallmark's ‘Surprised By Love’ Nets 2.4M Viewers

The Hallmark Channel jumped off to a good ratings start in the New Year with its original movie Surprised By Love, which drew 2.4 million viewers.

The film finished as the most watched original cable film of the week and continued the network’s ratings momentum dating back to its Countdown To Christmas original films last year. The network averaged more than 2 million viewers for its 12 original films.

“Following an exceptional Countdown to Christmas season, Hallmark Channel’s original programming continues to drive ratings and viewership, underscoring just how much the network has come to mean in the lives of our viewers,” said Michelle Vicary, executive vice president, programming & network publicity, Crown Media Family Networks in a statement. “These results, right out of the gate in 2015, are a great way to kick off the New Year and we look forward to building on this momentum over the next 12 months and beyond.”
