Halogen TV Amends Carriage Agreement With NCTC

Halogen
TV has finalized its amendment to its carriage agreement with the
National Cable Television Cooperative (NCTC), it was announced
Wednesday.

The
new amendment will give Halogen TV the ability to strike additional
carriage deals with NCTC-affiliated cable systems. Halogen is currently
carried on more than 930 NCTC-affiliated systems, with over 1 million
subscribers.

The Inspiration Networks outlet, rebranded from i-Life TV in fall 2009, targets 18-to-34-year-olds with "empowering entertainment" aimed at inspiring young people to "make the world a better place."

"The
NCTC is pleased to support the ever-growing community of
socially-conscious programmers and viewers represented by Halogen TV."
said Frank Hughes, senior vice president of programming for NCTC in a statement. "We are proud to offer
programming that not only entertains, but motivates our members and
their customers to make a positive impact on our world."
