Last night's third installment of History's Hatfields & McCoys mini-series was a ratings charm for the network, drawing a whopping 14.3 million total viewers.
The two-hour finale now ranks as the most watched entertainment-based, ad-supported basic cable show in history, besting the opening episode of Hatfields & McCoys, which drew 13.9 million viewers.
The second episode is third best in all of ad-supported cable with 13.1 million viewers, according to History.
Overall for the May 28-30 three night mini-series, Hatfields & McCoys averaged a record 13.8 tital viewers, 6 million adults 18-49, 3.5 million males 25-54 and 2.8 million males 18-49, according to History.
Additionally, May 28-30 was the highest trafficked 3-day (72 hour) period of all-time for History.com across all key metrics and attracted more than 1.6 million unique visitors over the three days.
