HBO Enthused Over Curb Marathon

Those looking to relive last season’s absurdities or interested in tuning in the Emmy Award-nominated comedy for the first time should mark your calendars Jan. 2, as Home Box Office will present the entire third season of Larry David’s Curb Your Enthusiasm that night.

The premium channel will present all 10 episodes of the improvisational series, developed by neurotic Seinfeld co-creator David, from 8 p.m.-1:15 a.m.

The marathon serves as a long lead-in to Curb’s 10-episode fourth season, which debuts Jan. 4 at 9:30 p.m. During January and February, the series -- also starring Cheryl Hines as David’s wife and Jeff Garlin as his manager -- will follow the last batch of fresh episodes of Sex and the City.

Appearing on the fourth season are series veterans Shelley Berman, Ted Danson, Susie Essman and Richard Lewis, plus new guest stars Mel Brooks, Paul Mazursky, Saul Rubinek, David Schwimmer, Ben Stiller, Bob Einstein and Moon Zappa.
