HBO Greenlights More ‘2 Dope Queens’ Specials

HBO will produce four additional 2 Dope Queens specials for 2019, the network said Monday.

The new 2 Dope Queens specials, featuring Jessica Williams and Phoebe Robinson and based on the hit comedy podcast of the same name, will follow four specials that aired this past February. 

The season one specials were directed by Tig Notaro and featured such special guests as Uzo Aduba, Tituss Burgess, Sarah Jessica Parker and Jon Stewart.

Season one of 2 Dope Queens was executive produced by Robinson, Williams, Amy Aniobi, Carrie Byalick, Chenoa Estrada, Jon Thoday, Richard Allen Turner, David Martin Ravi Nandan and John Hodges, said the network.
