The world’s oldest profession, and the story of three women “faced with limited challenges and prospects for professional growth.”

The tough characters behind a failed drug trafficking operation on the Bolivia-Chile border.

That’s what paying subscribers will get to see this fall on HBO Latino.

The second season of narco-drama Profugos debuted Sept. 19 at 10 p.m. The series focuses on four men behind the drug-trafficking operation, and the secrets surrounding each of the protagonists.

El Negocio — already a hit in Latin America — launched Sept. 15 at 10 p.m. The series tells the story of three women who realize that behind every product is a marketing strategy — even sex. Through prostitution, each of the women rise in the business world.

The two scripted dramas are accompanied by the 11th installment of the Habla documentary series. In this go-around, the focus is on men.

Habla Men tells the story of what it means to be a Latino male in the U.S. Among those telling their tales are “a handsome sensitive man,” a “tough guy actor,” a gay championship boxer, a legendary wrestler, a Pulitzer Prize-winning author and a 6-foot, 2-inch tall transgender blond bombshell, among others. Habla Men bowed Oct. 10 at 9 p.m.

The unique-to-HBO Latino programming is joined by dubbed-in-Spanish versions of such popular HBO

series as Boardwalk Empire, The Newsroom, The Comeback, Getting On and the miniseries Oliver Kitteridge.
