HBO Leads 2015 Writers Guild Awards Nominations

HBO garnered the lion’s share of cable and digital 2015 Writers Guild Award nominations, the organization announced Thursday.

HBO earned 16 nominations, including two best drama series nods for Game Of Thrones and True Detective, according to the Guild. Other shows nominated in the category include CBS’s The Good Wife, Netflix’s House Of Cards and AMC’s Mad Men.

OTT services Netflix and Amazon earned multiple nominations, as did cable networks FX, Lifetime, Comedy Central and Nickelodeon.

The winners will be announced during the 2015 Writers Guild Awards ceremony Feb. 14 in Los Angeles and New York.
