HBO renews 'Wyatt Cenac's problem Areas' for a second season

HBO will bring back its late-night talk show Wyatt Cenac’s Problem Areas for a second season, network officials said.

The series -- hosted by the Emmy Award-winning comedian and writer which covers a wide range of social and cultural issues -- will return for its sophomore campaign after a 10-episode first season, the network said.

“We’re so thrilled to have such a relevant, thought-provoking and sharply funny show on the network,” Nina Rosenstein, executive vice president, HBO Programming, said in a statement. “We’re all looking forward to seeing what problem areas Wyatt and his team decide to tackle next season.”

Executive producers for Wyatt Cenac's Problem Areas are Wyatt Cenac, Ezra Edelman, John Oliver, Tim Greenberg, David Martin, James Taylor, Jon Thoday and Hallie Haglund.
