HDNet Gains Admission Into Clubhouse

HDNet has acquired the rights to one-hour family drama Clubhouse, which previously aired on CBS.

Clubhouse -- starring Jeremy Sumpter (Peter Pan), Dean Cain (Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman), Christopher Lloyd (Back to the Future, Taxi) and Mare Winningham (The Brotherhood of Poland) -- tells the story of 16-year-old Pete Young (Sumpter), who takes the risk of his young life when he applies for and lands his dream job as a batboy for the New York Empires.

The series debuted on CBS in September 2004, but it was canceled after one season.

“We are happy to be the only place on television where viewers can catch every episode of Clubhouse, including the six episodes never seen before, all in their original HD format," HDNet chairman Mark Cuban said in a prepared statement.
