High-definition cable network HDNet snagged a movie deal with Paramount
Domestic Television to gain the rights to a lineup of feature films.

Under the deal, Paramount will supply HDNet with rights to air more than 175
films in certain limited windows during the next nine years on its HDNet and
HDNet channels.

"We are pleased to partner with Paramount to add these feature films to the
current library of drama and comedy series we have licensed from them," HDNet
cofounder and president Mark Cuban said in a release. "HDNet and HDNet Movies
will continue to invest in great content from the leading
studios."
