HDNet Set to Hit the Ice


The National Hockey League and HDNet have released the schedule of HDTV broadcasts for the first half of the upcoming season.

The 65-game schedule of NHL on HDNet coverage begins Friday, Oct. 10 at 9 p.m. (EST) with the Colorado Avalanche hosting the Chicago Blackhawks.

NHL action will appear in HDTV on HDNet every Tuesday and Friday night.

The games will be available on HDNet networks on DirecTV Inc., EchoStar Communications Corp.’s Dish Network, Charter Communications Inc., Insight Communications Co. Inc., National Cable Television Cooperative affiliates and other distributors that affiliate with HDNet in the future.
