A&E Television Networks announced Monday that Thomas Heymann has become
senior vice president and general manager of the newly formed Biography Channel
brand group.
Since joining AETN in 1992, Heymann has overseen various new-business
ventures involving A&E Network, The History Channel and The Biography
Channel, from home video to licensed merchandise to Biography
Magazine.
Three other AETN executives are joining the new Biography Channel group: John
Hartinger as vice president of marketing, from that post with AETN Interactive;
Deirdre O'Hara as director of programming, from an AETN senior producer; and
Paulette McLeod, who joins the group in her current position -- vice president,
general manager and editor in chief of Biography
Magazine.
