History Goes Inside the Presidency

The History Channel and veteran Washington Post journalist Bob Woodward will take “an intimate look at the American presidency.”

The network will air special Inside the Presidency with Bob Woodward Friday at 10 p.m. (EST/PST).

Guests will include former Presidents Gerald Ford and Jimmy Carter and current Vice President Dick Cheney.

Ford and Carter discuss the behind-the-scenes details that influenced their decision-making, while Cheney talks about the power of the presidency from his vantage points as Ford's chief of staff, a congressional leader working with President Ronald Reagan, President George H. W. Bush's secretary of defense and George W. Bush's second-in-command.

Inside the Presidency was produced by Newsweek Productions in association with Docere Palace Studios.
