The History Channel made ratings history in 2004.
The network recorded its best annual numbers ever, finishing up 18% in total viewers and 11% in Nielsen Media Research household rating compared with 2003. History’s average household rating in 2004 was a 1.0, the network said Thursday.
"With these new benchmarks, The History Channel has once again set a performance record," president Dan Davids said in a prepared statement. "We're excited to announce that the network has completed yet another banner year."
