History’s ‘White House’ Special Topped All Cable In Time Slot


History’s special presentation The White House: Behind Closed Doors was the top show on cable in its 9 p.m. ET time slot when it premiered last Wednesday, Nov. 26, officials said Tuesday.

The 90-minute special, which looks through history’s lens to provide a rare inside look at the home where America's first families have lived, learned and helped shape the United States, was watched by 2.8 million total viewers and earned a 1.9 household rating, both top numbers for their time slot on cable that night.

The combined 9 p.m. and 1 a.m. telecasts were watched by 3.7 million viewers.
