Swamp People averaged a series' high 4.5 million watchers on Thursday night, according to Nielsen data.

Set in Southern Louisiana's Atchafalaya Swamp, the show casts a light on men, including descendants of 1700s era Cajuns, who hunt alligators.

The show's sophomore season continues in its 9 p.m. (ET)/8 p.m. (CT) Thursday time slot on June 16
