@Home Teams Up with PC Connection

Redwood City, Calif. -- High-speed-data service @Home
Network last week opened another electronic door to online shopping, this time partnering
with direct-computer-reseller PC Connection.

In the deal, @Home will add PC Connection's wares to
its shopping area, and PC Connection will market @Home in regions, identified by ZIP code,
where the service is available.

It is @Home's first agreement with a computer

PC Connection operates a database of about 2 million
customers, which it markets via telephone, the Internet and catalogs. Customers in served
areas who purchase computers and peripherals through PC Connection will be asked if they
want to subscribe to @Home's service, executives said.

Tom Jermoluk, chairman and CEO of @Home, called a retail
online channel "a logical point of distribution for enhanced Internet services,"
adding that by teaming up with PC Connection, @Home "expands its marketing reach by
gaining access to an active and demographically viable set of customers that will help us
to grow our residential and business services."

He said @Home's business-oriented arm, @Work, will
also benefit by expanding its service reach via PC Connection, given the fact that an
increasing percentage of PC Connection's sales comes from businesses.

Wayne Wilson, president and chief operating officer of PC
Connection, said in a prepared statement that he's eager to participate in broadband
via @Home.

"Having a direct link to a technologically savvy
customer base that will be attracted to our broad array of product offerings" is what
drew him to strike a deal with @Home, Wilson said.
