TNT easily extended its primetime winning streak to three behind its coverage of the NBA playoffs.

The “drama” network notched a 2.4 household ratings during the week of May 12-19, 0.5 points more than USA Network, according to a Disney ABC Cable Networks Group analysis of Nielsen Media Research data.

Once again, TNT’s “40 Games in 40 Nights” stunt pushed it to the top of the ratings rim, dunking four of the top eight shows for the week, including the top two: The fifth games of the Utah Jazz-Los Angeles Lakers and Boston Celtics-Cleveland Cavaliers series drew 5.45 million and 5.41 million viewers, respectively.

ESPN, which also benefited from the pro hoops playoffs with three shows in the top nine, finished in a tie with sister service Disney Channel, both with a 1.7 average.

Three networks were tied at a 1.3: Nick at Nite, TBS and Sci Fi Channel. The latter stepped up in rank with May 18 and May 17 airings of Indiana Jones: The Last Crusade, which lassoed the 14th and 15th spots for the week.

Fox News Channel was eighth with a 1.2 mark, while Lifetime Television and Cartoon Network rounded out the top 10 with 1.1 and 1.0 averages, respectively.
