HRTV Heads to Dubai

HorseRacing TV will air live coverage of the 11-date Dubai International Racing Carnival from Nad al Sheba Race Course in Dubai, the network said Thursday.

The event starts Thursday and runs through Dubai World Cup Day Saturday, March 26, when four grade-one and two grade-two stakes will offer more than $15 million in purses. More than 160 horses, representing 59 international trainers from 22 countries, will compete for total prize money of $25 million.

HRTV’s Dubai telecasts will begin at noon (EST) on each of the following dates except Dubai World Cup Day, when coverage starts at 9 a.m.: Thursday, Jan. 20; Thursday, Jan. 27; Thursday, Feb. 3; Thursday, Feb. 10; Friday, Feb. 11; Thursday, Feb. 17; Thursday, Feb. 24; Friday, Feb. 25; Saturday, March 5; Thursday, March 10; and Saturday, March 26 (Dubai World Cup Day).
