said its subscriber rolls had surpassed 100,000 as of Dec. 31, 2000, for a jump of 78 percent versus third-quarter numbers. HSA, which is attempting to bolster its commercial-service portfolio, said it ended 2000 with 1,071 business customers.
The data-over-cable provider reported fourth-quarter net revenue of $5.2 million, up 260 percent versus the year-ago period, and posted a net loss of $61.9 million, or $1.06 per share. HSA has contract rights to about 6.6 million homes passed, and has deployed services to about 3.8 million homes passed.
