Littleton, Colo. -- HSANet Inc. last week signed on
Mid-Coast Cable Television Inc. to its list of takers for turnkey high-speed-data
Mid-Coast will use HSANet's services in its El Campo,
Texas, system first, executives said last week.
Jake Landrum, manager of the El Campo system, said in a
statement, "Being in a rural area, we did not expect to be able to offer these
services so soon."
Mid-Coast operates 110 miles of fiber-upgraded plant in
Edna, Ganado, Louise, Blessing and Wharton County, Texas. Those systems "will also
deploy HSANet's cable-modem service" at a later date, executives said.
