Hulu to End ‘East Los High’

Streaming video service Hulu will end its drama series East Los High this fall with a one-hour final episode, the company confirmed Friday.

The Emmy-nominated series, which premiered in 2013 and ran on Hulu for four seasons, follows the lives and experiences of Latino high school students making their way in East Los Angeles.

The final episode will pick up eight months after the cliffhanger season four finale and chronicle the students as they prepare to leave high school behind and maybe even East Los Angeles, according to the service.

The East Los High: Finale Event will be executively produced by Katie Elmore Mota and Mauricio Mota, as well as by series creator Kathleen Bedoya.
