i Is Now ION Television

First it was Pax TV. Then it became i. And now, the network will be rebranded ION Television.

ION Media Networks said the new brand will be introduced to viewers on-air Monday.

“We adopted our corporate 'ION' brand last February based on the ubiquity of 'ION' within so many words in our business and plans -- including most notably televisION itself, as well as key TV success factors like 'motion,' 'fiction,' 'imagination,' 'education,' 'action,' 'innovation,' etc.," ION head of creative services Russell Frederickson said in a prepared statement.

"We like the depth of branding possibilities so much that we decided to use ION as our consumer-facing brand in our business portfolio going forward,” he added.
