I Will Watch Green Eggs and WAM!

Theodor Seuss Geisel (Dr. Seuss) would have turned 100 March 2, but WAM! America’s Kidz Network plans to keep his legacy alive.

The Starz Encore Group LLC service will air a daylong Dr. Seuss tribute featuring The 5,000 Fingers of Dr. T. and Dr. Seuss’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas.

At the time of his death Sept. 24, 1991, Dr. Seuss had written and illustrated 44 books, which had been translated into 15 different languages and sold more than 200 million copies.

"Dr. Seuss revolutionized the way children learned to read with his fanciful world of rhyming tales," WAM! vice president of programming Midge Pierce said in a prepared statement.
