Several companies announced partnerships deals on the eve of next week's private Cable Television Laboratories Inc. winter conference.
ICTV Inc. announced that it will offer GlooLabs Inc.’s platform on its “HeadendWare” system. GlooLabs provides a multimedia-software application that allows consumers to access music, photos and videos from their PCs on their TVs using HeadendWare. The GlooNet software would be installed on the PC.
And CableMatrix said it was joining forces with Xinnia Technology LLC, which develops PacketCable multimedia technologies, to showcase an integrated solution for high-speed-data services.
The companies will combine CableMatrix's PacketCable-multimedia-compliant on-demand service platform with Xinnia's application-management platform and smart agents.
All four companies will showcase their products at CableLabs’ conference in Westminster, Colo., Feb. 27-March 1.
