IFC Promotes Kim Granito to SVP

IFC said Kim Granito has been promoted to the newly created position of senior vice president, digital media & integrated marketing for IFC. She continues to report to Blake Callaway, IFC’s executive vice president, marketing & digital media, and will oversee all aspects of IFC’s multi-platform and partnership marketing, digital communication strategy and positioning in the advertiser marketplace, the AMC Networks outlet said.

“Kim’s creative approach has been key in helping define the brand and developing a strategy that reflects its ‘slightly off’ sensibility in the sales space,” Callaway said in a release. “She is a proven leader at innovating smart, creative advertiser solutions, and in her expanded role she will take on the oversight of IFC.com, social strategy, and the growing stable of content driven apps.”

Granito, who was a member of MCN's 2015 "40 under 40" class, had been vice president, integrated marketing, responsible for establishing IFC’s positioning in the advertiser marketplace and developing multi-platform partner solutions via programming, events and packaging.

In her new role, she will oversee the operations of all IFC digital platforms including IFC.com, mobile, social and syndicated content partnerships, helming the creative and editorial vision of the network’s digital properties, IFC said.

Prior to joining IFC in October 2011, Granito held roles in consumer and integrated marketing at Syfy, which was Callaway's shop before he joined IFC in October 2011. Before joining Syfy, Granito had various marketing and production roles at MTV Networks and USA Network.
