IFC Supports Second Season of 'Portlandia' with Six-City Tour

IFC and Broadway Video is touting the second season of its original comedy series Portlandia with a six-city tour.
Series co-creators, writers and stars Fred Armisen and Carrie Brownstein will perform music, present sophomore- season clips and share anecdotes about the inspiration of the show and its array of eccentric characters. The series' second campaign is scheduled to debut Jan. 6 at 10 p.m. (ET/PT).
"Portlandia: The Tour" begins at Hollywood Theatre in its home town of Portland on Dec. 27, before moving to the Showbox at the Market in Seattle the following day. The Mezzanine in San Francisco is on tap for Dec. 30.
The tour resumes in the new year on Jan. 17 at the Echoplex in Los Angeles, before heading to The Hideout in Chicago the next day. The trek concludes in New York on Jan. 20 at Brooklyn's Music Hall of Williamsburg on Jan. 20 and the Bowery Ballroom in Manhattan on Jan. 21.
