Infiniti Gets 'Inside The Actors Studio'

Infiniti has parked a deal to become the presenting sponsor of Bravo’s Inside The Actors Studio.

The multiplatform pact, terms of which were not disclosed, not only includes commercials within the show, but encompasses integrated on-air segments and will manifest in a revamped online presence.

The deal begins with the premiere of this Monday’s Inside The Actors Studio installment with James Lipton interviewing Academy Award-winning actress Goldie Hawn. The episode, bowing at 8 p.m. (ET/PT), marks the 14-time Emmny-nominated show’s 199th episode. The 200th installment, airing on Nov. 10, is a role reversal, with Lipton being interrogated by Dave Chapelle, who will also unveil a montage of the show’s vintage moments, ranging from celebrity guests favorite swear words to their best dance moves, plus highlights from classic interviews with Tom Hanks, Sally Field, and Mike Meyers.

Infiniti’s deal also covers the series upcoming 15th season, slated to begin in December..

In addition to a new show open, the series will incorporate "The Infiniti Film Vault,” an in-show segment featuring archived clips from the celebrity guest's body of work. The "Infiniti Fan Question” will also be read during each interview, selected from fan submittals on the Inside the Actor's Studio microsite.

Live at www.BravoTV.com, the site will present an exclusive blog written by Lipton capturing his most memorable moments interviewing some of the biggest names in Hollywood. Infiniti will also offer BravoTV.com visitors the opportunity to enter an Inside the Actors Studio sweepstakes for a chance to win a trip to New York, meet Lipton and attend a live show.

The media campaign and promotional elements were developed and negotiated by media agency OMD.

"We are thrilled that Infiniti has come on board to sponsor the 15th season of one of the network's most beloved series and look forward to this mutually beneficial relationship,” said Susan Malfa, senior vice president, Bravo and Oxygen ad sales, in a statement.

Added Infiniti vice president of marketing Ben Poore: "Infiniti is always searching for opportunities to build extensive and meaningful partnerships which allow us to engage consumers through their individual passions and creativity. This multi-platform, integrated program provides us an avenue to reach an affluent, engaged and influential target in line with Infiniti buyers. We are proud to be involved with such a highly successful and acclaimed show as Inside the Actors Studio.”
