BlueHighways TV has inked a carriage pact with Insight Communications Co. Inc., the network announced Tuesday.
BlueHighways is being created by Network Creative Group LLC, a content and network-development company led by Country Music Television pioneer Stan Hitchcock.
The network described itself as “lifestyle programming that depicts the experiences, music, neighborhoods, art, festivals and celebrations that, interwoven together, define America's vivid culture and character.”
“BlueHighways TV has a unique blend of original and family-friendly programming that we believe will have appeal to television viewers," Insight senior vice president of marketing and programming Pamela Euler Halling said in a prepared statement.
“As always, our focus is on providing diverse programming that really touches the interests and lifestyles of our customers,” she added.
Insight is the country’s No. 9 MSO, serving approximately 1.3 million customers in Illinois, Kentucky, Indiana and Ohio.
