INSP Concert Raises $134K

The Inspiration Networks said its Sept. 3 A Concert of Hope raised more than $134,000 to help combat the effects of Hurricane Katrina.

The three-hour telethon was broadcast across INSP, i-Lifetv and Inspiration Network International to 80 million households in 38 countries.

The programmer and Convoy of Hope have delivered more than 180 truckloads of ice, water and food with more than 6 million pounds of relief supplies to the affected areas.

“These funds will enable us to send an additional 22 truckloads with over 873,000 pounds of urgently needed supplies to the impacted areas," Inspiration Networks CEO David Cerullo said in a prepared statement.
