IP Unity, a developer of media servers and real-time multimedia applications, announced the appointments of Michael Anderson as vice president of services and operations and J.D. Vaughn as VP of sales for North America.
Anderson was previously VP of services at SonicWall, a vendor of Internet-security devices for small and midsized businesses.
Vaughn was with BayPackets -- a provider of IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) products acquired in August by another IMS vendor, Genband -- where he was VP of worldwide sales and marketing.
San Jose, Calif.-based IP Unity claims to have 250 deployments in more than 30 countries.
