ITI Taps House Armed Services Vet

ITI (the Information Technology Industry Council) has named Jonathan Pawlow senior director, government affairs. He will focus on the executive branch and Congress, advocating on procurement and infrastructure public sector issues for the tech trade group.

Pawlow comes from the Hill, where most recently he was legislative director and deputy chief of staff for Rep. Adam Smith (D-Wash.), chairman of the House Armed Services Committee, where Pawlow has served over a dozen years.

ITI has been staffing up of late. Last month, ITI announced that former FBI chief information officer Gordon Bitko was joining as vice president of public sector policy efforts.

“As a seasoned congressional aide, Jon will help ensure our advocacy on issues ranging from supply chain management to acquisition reform to government modernization is informed by deep experience and sharp insight," said ITI President Jason Oxman.
