Interactive Television Networks Inc. is partnering with the professional National Lacrosse League to launch Lacrosse TV, which can be accessed online (www.lacrossetv.com) and will feature at least 20 live broadcast games from the 2006 NLL season.
Another 150 archived games from the league’s 19-year history will also be available on the Web site. Monthly subscriptions will cost $9.95. Viewers can access the content through ITVN’s set-top box, beginning Jan. 1.
The Web site said the $9.95 charge includes a free set-top “worth $99.95.”
ITVN chief executive officer Charles Prast said lacrosse is the first of several sports networks ITVN plans to launch using IPTV.
