Now, video iTunes watchers can get one month’s worth of Jon Stewart and Steve Colbert.
In the latest addition to Apple Computer Inc.’s iTunes Music Store (www.itunes.com), Comedy Central series The Daily Show with Jon Stewart and The Colbert Report will be available for $9.99 apiece through the service’s new “Multi-Pass” feature. For $9.99, subscribers would receive all 16 premiere installments of one of the shows.
The service will automatically provide subscribers -- who will be notified by e-mail that episodes have arrived -- with the previous day’s premiere installment. In addition, fans can download the previous night’s show for $1.99 per episode.
The Daily Show and Colbert episodes debut Mondays-Thursdays at 11 p.m. and 11:30 p.m., respectively.
In January, Comedy, as part of an MTV Networks deal, launched signature series South Park and fellow animated skein Drawn Together on the iTunes Music Store for $1.99 per episode.
