The History Channel set several network viewership ratings in January.
The network said Wednesday that it posted its best January ratings and total viewers, as well as its best month ever in impressions among adults 18-49 and men 18-49 and 25-54.
History earned a 1.1 Nielsen Media Research primetime-household rating in January, up 3% compared with a 1.07 in January 2004. The network delivered 1.26 million total viewers versus 1.21 million in the year-ago month.
As for impressions, History posted 541,000 in adults 18-49, 443,000 in men 25-54 and 389,000 in men 18-49.
World-premiere special The French Revolution Jan. 17 earned a 2.53 household rating and 2.95 million total viewers, making it the network’s fourth-most-watched original event ever.
And special The Presidents posted a 1.44 household rating and averaged 1.72 million total viewers over its four nights.
