JetBlue Sponsors In-Flight VH1 Classic Show

VH1 Classic announced Wednesday that JetBlue Airways will sponsor RedEye
Requests
, a new music-video-request show from
VH1 that's available only to customers on the low-fare carrier’s late-night
flights.

Travelers booking red-eye flights via JetBlue’s Internet
site (www.jetblue.com
) can request their favorite music videos from the 1960s, ‘70s
and ‘80s via the DirecTV Inc. link. The show will air Mondays between midnight
and 5 a.m.

VH1 Classic is among 24 channels available via JetBlue’s free in-flight DirecTV
satellite programming.

The network screened a sneak preview of the show Monday by featuring requests
from JetBlue crew members. Their picks, VH1 Classic said, ranged from ABBA’s "Dancing
Queen" to Michael Jackson’s "Billie Jean" to Weird Al Yankovic’s "Like a
Surgeon."
