WideOpenWest has expanded its exec team with the hiring of industry vet Jill Stark as senior vice president of sales.
In that role, Stark will head up strategies for WOW’s residential and commercial services sales teams.
Stark most recently was president of Enterprise Sales – West Area – at Sprint. She has also held exec sales and GM roles at Charter Communications, Comcast Cable and AT&T Broadband (sold to Comcast in 2001).
Stark is the latest in a recent string of execs to join the leadership team at WOW following the hiring late last year new CEO Teresa Elder.
Other recent hires include Matt Bell (executive vice president and chief technology officer); Amy Bell (SVP of marketing); Leslie Peabody (VP of human resources business partners); Bill Case (VP of total rewards); and Nancy McGee (chief marketing and sales officer).
“With WOW!’s plan to continue to expand our service footprint and drive penetration deeper into our markets, we are excited to bring an engaging and highly accomplished sales executive to the team,” McGee said in a statement. “Jill will lead our sales organization to serve customers with WOW!’s products and services in new, and existing, markets.”
“With an expanding service footprint and a broader range of WOW! products and services, WOW!’s sales teams and partner channels are tasked with introducing the fastest internet speeds available, along with competitive video and voice services to new commercial and residential customers,” Stark added. “I am thrilled to lead the sales efforts at WOW! during this transformational time at the company.”
