Jones-Tarver PPV Fight Nets 250K Buys

Home Box Office Pay-Per-View's Nov. 8 Roy Jones Jr.-Antonio Tarver PPV-boxing event drew 250,000 buys.

The fight, in which Jones won a controversial decision, generated 150,000 buys from cable systems and 100,000 from satellite homes throughout the 50 states and Canada. Overall, the bout -- which retailed at a suggested price of $44.95 -- earned $11.5 million in PPV revenue.
