The Walter Kaitz Foundation launched a redesigned Web site (www.walterkaitz.org) Monday.
The new site highlights the group’s recently introduced logo, "Diversity 365: Every Day Belongs to Everyone," along with new graphical elements and an updated layout that includes Web-based tools.
Other new features on the site include a “Supplier Diversity” feature that will serve as a conduit between the cable industry and the minority- and women-owned business community; a “Career Center” section that will help cable organizations to identify qualified women and minority candidates to fill positions throughout the industry; and other information and history about the Kaitz Foundation, including a biography of Walter Kaitz, information about the group’s annual fund-raising dinners, a list of Kaitz Fellows and Kaitz Partners, links to other diversity organizations and a calendar of industry events.
“We are excited to launch the redesigned Web site to serve as a central resource for diversity information within the cable industry," outgoing executive director Debbie A. Smith said in a prepared statement. “The Web site will enable companies to learn more about diversity initiatives, plus help them identify new qualified minority vendors and employees.”
