Kelly Named Insight President

Insight Communications Co. Inc. said Tuesday that chief operating officer Kim
D. Kelly has added the title of president.

She had been executive vice president.

Kelly was also named president and CEO of Insight Midwest L.P., the No. 9
MSO's operating subsidiary.

Michael S. Willner is still Insight's CEO, and he was also named vice
chairman of the company, as well as chairman of Insight Midwest.

'These appointments represent a more accurate reflection of how Kim and I
have worked as partners in this company for many years,' Willner said in a news
release. 'The bottom line is that this news does not alter the way we have been
running, and will continue to run, our business. It simply better reflects the
operating reality of our organizational structure.'

Kelly joined Insight in 1990 as executive VP and chief financial officer. She
added the title of COO in 1998 and turned over the chief finance duties to
Dinesh C. Jain earlier this year.

Willner co-founded the company in 1985 with Sidney R. Knafel, who remains
chairman.

Insight has about 1.4 million customers, concentrated in the four contiguous
states of Illinois, Kentucky, Indiana and Ohio.
