Hallmark Channel U.S. Thursday named TV veteran David Kenin to head its
programming.

Kenin, whose resume includes stints at USA Networks Inc. and CBS Sports, will
now serve as Hallmark's executive vice president for Crown Media United States,
which operates the network.

Based in Hallmark's Los Angeles headquarters, Kenin will have oversight for
all areas of the channel's programming, including development, acquisitions,
program administration, scheduling and program strategies.

He reports directly to Hallmark Channel U.S. president and CEO Lana
Corbi.

Prior to joining Hallmark, Kenin was the principal of Kenin Partners, where
he represented clients in various media industries, including cable television,
business development, international programming, international sports rights and
new technology.

From 1994 through 1997, Kenin was president of CBS Sports in New York, where
he oversaw the rebuilding of the network's sports division.

Prior to that, he spent 12 years at USA as executive vice
president.
