The CTAM Educational Foundation Monday announced The Carlyle Group’s William Kennard and TiVo CEO Tom Rogers will both address the CTAM Executive Management Program at Harvard Business School later this week.
Kennard will provide his perspective on how the private equity markets operate in the cable and telecom industries. His lecture follows the "Laura Martin: Real Options and the Cable Industry" case study, which uses Cox Communication’s experience to illustrate how the financial markets are designed to work.
Rogers will present the Dan Aaron Lecture for Innovative Management, which will focus on how to effectively manage a high-tech consumer electronics company and bring personal control to an industry with ever-increasing entertainment content choice and evolving consumer preferences. The annual Aaron Lecture was endowed by Ralph J. Roberts, Julian A. Brodsky and Comcast to honor Dan Aaron, who, along with Roberts and Brodsky, founded Comcast Corporation.
The CTAM Executive Management Program provides 75 “rising stars” from cable, content and technology companies with a strategic marketing education opportunity, built on an intensive, cable-oriented curriculum. It runs through Friday in Boston.
