G4 announced Thursday that comedian and actor Jamie Kennedy will host its
first G-Phoria, the network’s live event celebrating the massive
phenomenon of video games.
Kennedy is currently starring in The WB Television Network’s The Jamie
Kennedy Experiment and also boasts 2003 Warner Bros. comedy Malibu’s Most
Wanted on his list of credits.
G-Phoria will feature live musical acts, celebrities, new video games and
G4’s first video-game "Glow Awards."
It takes place in Hollywood at the Henry Fonda Theater Wednesday night, July
30, and it will air as a 90-minute special on G4 Aug. 8 at 8 p.m. EST/PST.
Comcast Corp.-owned G4 is a 24-hour, seven-day-per-week network dedicated to
the world of video games.
