Phil Kent, chairman and CEO, Turner Broadcasting System, Inc., and Neil Smit, president, Comcast Cable Communications, will serve as co- chairs of The Cable Show 2012 in Boston next spring.
Kent and Smit, both of whom will speak at NewBay Media's fourth annual OnScreen Media Summit in New York on Dec. 1, will team with a panel of senior executives in cable operations, strategy, and technology, to outline key opportunities and objectives for the industry, when it gathers at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center from May 21-23.
Sporting the tagline "Experience More," Cable Show 2012 will mark the first time NCTA's top confab convenes in Boston, home to some of the country's most influential figures in technology, media investment and academia. There, attendees from across cable's spectrum of disciplines can learn more about the speed, innovation, programming and value of the industry's advanced broadband platform.
