Killelea Leaves Comcast To Set Up Executive-Coaching Firm

Grace Killelea, formerly senior vice president of talent at Comcast Cable, has left the operator to run her own executive coaching and speaking consulting firm.

Her Philadelphia-based firm, Grace Killelea Consulting, counts Comcast as a client, as well as Suddenlink Communications, Comcast's Golf Channel and Boeing.

Killelea left Comcast at the end of June after nine years with the company. "I felt that it was a great time for me [to leave Comcast]," she said. "It's very, very fun. I'm a happy ex-Comcaster."

Killelea, a member of Multichannel News' 2011 Wonder Women class, oversaw Comcast's talent acquisition, talent management and diversity recruitment. She served as vice president of human resources for Comcast Spotlight from 2003 to 2007.

Comcast has integrated Killelea's job duties into Comcast University and the MSO's human-resources operations, under executive vice president of HR Bill Strahan.

"We're delighted to see Grace doing something she loves, which is running her own professional services firm, and are pleased to also be one of her clients," spokesman John Demming said.

Prior to joining Comcast, Killelea was the founder and president of consulting firm Sterling Resource Group. Earlier in her career she worked in human-resources positions at Lifetime Television, Prime Communications and SBC Communications.
