Knowledge TV Debuts New Look, Lineup

In addition to unveiling a new on-air graphic look,
Knowledge TV this past weekend debuted a new fall lineup that includes a handful of new
series and the shifting of its European news and cultural programming to the morning.

On Sunday, Knowledge TV premiered On the Money, a
daily newsmagazine reporting on personal finance. The network is co-producing the series
with Conus Communications and its affiliate, News Resource Inc. On the Money will
air daily at 9 p.m. and Sunday through Friday at 11 a.m. and 6 p.m.

Today (Aug. 31), the network was set to launch Business
Traveler: The Survivor's Guide
, a primetime series offering travel tips, produced
by Great Divide Pictures of Denver. Business Traveler will air Mondays at 9:30 p.m.
and Thursdays at 2:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.

Knowledge TV also has a third series coming to its lineup, A
Place to Be
, which focuses on people's needs for special places to escape to and
what some of these places are. The network has ordered 13 episodes of the series,
according to Bob Jones, its vice president of programming.

Knowledge TV, part of Jones Education Networks, also
changed its schedule for the fall. Its daily block of European news and cultural
programming will move from its previous time slot of 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.to weekdays
from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m., reflecting Knowledge TV's expanded commitment to Cable in the
Classroom.

That change will permit the network, which debuted a West
Coast feed Aug. 1, to take advantage of the early fringe period to start airing its
business-and-finance and health-and-wellness programming leading into primetime.

For the new season, Knowledge TV has also signed on to
coproduce new episodes of Pulse, a medical-magazine show that has been airing on
the network and that is distributed by Cable Ready Corp. Knowledge TV will coproduce the
show with A.H. Belo Corp.'s KXTV in Sacramento, Calif.
