Kustok Added To Comcast’s 'SportsNite' Roster

Comcast SportsNet Chicago has added Sarah Kustok to its nightly sports news show.

Beginning Jan. 5, Kustok will become an official member of the SportsNite crew. Her principle duties will center on covering a variety of Chicago’s professional, collegiate and high school sports stories, along with occasionally co-anchoring the program.

SportsNite airs live nightly at 6:30 p.m., 10 p.m, 10:30 p.m. and midnight featuring the on-air team of Pat Boyle, Mark Schanowski, Chris Boden, Gail Fischer, Chuck Garfien, William Jackson, Josh Mora and Luke Stuckmeyer.

“We are very pleased to bring someone of Sarah’s experience and local sports enthusiasm to our network,” said Charlie Schumacher, senior news director for Comcast SportsNet Chicago, in a statement. “Providing the very best live, local sports news coverage on a daily basis continues to be our focus and Sarah will be a terrific addition to our already solid on-air team.”

Currently the co-host of the regional sports network’s Beer Money sports trivia show, Kustok has also been handling feature reporting duties for CSN’s SportsNite: High School Lites.

Recently, she was a sideline reporter for ESPN's college and high school remote football telecasts, and also handled color analyst/sideline reporting duties for men’s and women’s college basketball.  She has also worked for WFLD-TV in Chicago (Fox) as a fill-in weekend sports anchor and part-time reporter for the past two years and was the sideline reporter this past season for WPWR-TV’s coverage of Major League Soccer's Chicago Fire telecasts.
