Actor/performance artist John Leguizamo is developing an animated half-hour
series for The New TNN, network officials confirmed Friday.

The relationship was contracted prior to the network's decision to make over
its format to become a male-oriented channel, rather than general entertainment,
as has been the case the past two years.

The proposed six-episode series deals with a pair of video-store workers who
watch and debate flicks on the job, in the manner of Roger Ebert and Richard
Roeper.

A TNN spokesperson said the project does not have a name or debut date at
this point.

It may or may not go in TNN's Tuesday primetime-cartoon block, scheduled to
launch in April. That lineup includes GarytheRat, voiced
by Kelsey Grammer; Stripperella, starring Pamela Sue Anderson and created
by comic-book legend Stan Lee; and new Ren&StimpyShow episodes.
