Liberty Global boosted its stake in Belgian cable operator Telenet Group Holding to more than 28% from 21.4%, AP reported.
Telenet is the largest cable operator in Belgium, according to AP.
Liberty Global told AP the move was made through its control of Belgian Cable Investors, which exercised an option to buy 6.75 million shares of Telenet for 135 million euros ($173.4 million).
